Mortgages in Spain are really very simple and are calculated in accordance with the EURIBOR, which is the European equivalent of the Bank of England (BoE) interest rates. As with England, the EURIBOR fluctuates and there are various mortgage packages such as 'fixed rate' and 'tracker' type mortgages, as with England also.

As a non-resident, you will be allowed to borrow between 70-80% of the value of the property (Spanish residents are allowed to borrow a slightly higher percentage). So please factor this into your decision making as to how much deposit you have, and how much you can afford to spend on the property that you want us to find.
